Why we keep publishing in house

Most sync deals stall in the same place: the master is cleared and the song is not, or one co-writer out of five cannot be reached before the delivery date. We publish the songs we record, so both halves move together. For a music supervisor that means a single agreement. For a songwriter it means their work is actually licensable, which is the difference between a catalog that earns and a catalog that sits.

Catalog administration

We register works, keep splits documented, supply the writer and publisher information that cue sheets require, and chase the performance and mechanical income that follows a placement. Writers on our roster get their song data handled properly rather than discovered two years later during an audit.

Co-writing and custom composition

Our writing pool is deep and used to working fast on a brief. If a project needs a cue written to picture, a song built around a character, a brand or a campaign line, or an original alternative to a track that is out of budget, we can put the right writers and vocalists in a room and deliver something you own the rights to use. This is how much of our existing catalog was made, so it is not a side service.

Songwriters
