Every Song Here Was Made by People
Astonish Entertainment's catalog is written, performed and produced by human beings. No song in our catalog is generated by artificial intelligence, and none of our artists use generative AI to create their music.
Our disclosure
Every musical work and sound recording we own, publish or represent was created by identified human writers, performers and producers. The compositions are written by people. The vocals are sung by people. The instruments are played by people. The records are produced and mixed by people.
We do not use generative artificial intelligence to create melodies, lyrics, chord progressions, arrangements, vocal performances, instrumental performances or master recordings. We do not use AI voice cloning or synthetic vocals. We do not train models on our catalog or licence it for AI training, and we do not knowingly licence our music to anyone who intends to use it as training data.
Every writer on every song is a real, credited person with a share registered to their name at a performing rights organisation. That is the same fact that makes our catalog one-stop, and it is the reason we can put it in writing.
Where we draw the line
We think a disclosure is only useful if it is precise, so here is the distinction we make. Ordinary studio software may include machine-learning features under the hood, the way a modern noise reduction, stem separation, pitch correction or mastering tool does. Using a plug-in to clean up a noisy take is not the same thing as asking a model to write a song.
What we are telling you is this: no part of the creative authorship of our music is machine-generated. The authorship is human, it is documented, and it is warranted in the agreements we sign.
Why this matters to a music supervisor
Chain of title holds up
In the United States, works generated by artificial intelligence without human authorship are not eligible for copyright protection. A cue with no valid copyright behind it is a cue nobody can properly licence to you. Human authorship is what makes our chain of title real.
It survives legal review
Sync and master use agreements increasingly require a representation that the music is human-created and free of AI-generated elements. We can make that representation without a carve-out, which keeps your clearance moving.
Broadcasters and guilds are asking
Networks, studios, brands and guilds are adding AI provenance questions to their delivery and compliance paperwork. If your production has to certify what is in the soundtrack, we can give you a straight answer in writing.

Every writer and performer is named and registered, so your cue sheets are accurate and the right people are paid.
