Privacy Policy

Effective September 21, 2026. This policy explains what we collect through astonishentertainment.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.

What this policy covers

This policy covers astonishentertainment.com and the forms on it. It does not cover the services we link to, which have their own policies — including our catalog on DISCO, Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and our artists’ own websites. Once you follow a link off this site, their policy applies.

What we collect

What you give us

The sign-up and licensing forms on this site are provided by Artist Results. Depending on the form, they ask for:

  • your name and email address;
  • your phone number, if you choose to receive text messages;
  • for a licensing request, details of your company and project so we can quote.

We use this to send you what you asked for — new music and news, catalog updates for music supervisors, or a reply to your licensing request. If you email us directly, we keep what you send for as long as we need it to answer you and do the work.

We do not ask for, and do not want, any sensitive personal information.

What is collected automatically

Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not build a profile of you.

Server logs. Our host records standard technical information about each request, such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the site secure and running.

Cookies

This site does not set its own tracking cookies. Some of the services embedded in our pages may set their own when you use them: the Artist Results forms, the DISCO player on our home page, and YouTube if you press play on a video. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works, though an embedded form or player may not.

The site also uses your browser’s local storage for small conveniences, such as remembering a filter. That stays on your device and never reaches us.

Services built into our pages

These load as part of the site, so they can see your visit even if you do not interact with them:

  • Artist Results — our forms. Artist Results is a separate company under common ownership with Astonish Entertainment. Your details go to it as our service provider and are held under its own terms and privacy policy.
  • DISCO — the catalog player on our home page.
  • Google Fonts — the typefaces used on the site, which your browser downloads from Google.
  • YouTube — video thumbnails, and the video itself if you choose to play one. Videos use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode.
  • Cloudflare — hosting, security and the analytics described above.

Email and text messages

Email. If you sign up, we send new music, news and catalog updates. Every email has an unsubscribe link that works straight away.

Text messages. If you give us your phone number and agree to receive texts, you may receive conversational messages from Astonish Entertainment, such as release news and replies to your enquiries. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also email us at admin@astonishentertainment.com.

We do not sell or rent your phone number, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with the services that run the site for us, each acting on our instructions: Artist Results for forms, email and texts, and Cloudflare for hosting and analytics. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.

How long we keep it

  • Mailing lists and text updates: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your details.
  • Licensing requests and correspondence: for as long as we reasonably need them for the working relationship, and a reasonable period after.
  • Server logs and analytics: for a short period set by our host.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email admin@astonishentertainment.com and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, and we will honour them.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us their details, email us and we will delete them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
